Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Uriel Fagan (nee Cahill) of St. John's, age 85, originally from St. Mary's Bay. Predeceased by her sister, Josephine Fagan and parents, Francis and Elizabeth Cahill. Left with fond and loving memories, devoted husband of 59 years, Larry; daughters: Marie (Mike O'Dea), Sharon & Paula; grandchildren: Heather (Mike Curran), Paul (Sharla Nurse) & Andrew O'Dea; brothers: John (Catherine), Mike (Madeline), Frank (Geraldine), Adrian (Anne), Patrick (Anita) Cahill; sisters: Betty (Lawrence) Butler, Margaret (Hilary) Gibbons and other relatives & friends. Thank you to the HSC Emergency Room staff and to the medical and nursing teams on 4SA for their exceptional care. A special thank you to Wheelway and to those who helped to make her last hours so special by reuniting her with the love of her life. Resting at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, where she has spent much of the last five years supporting her husband, Larry. Out of respect for the privacy of the residents of SPMH, visitation and Mass was limited to family and residents of SPMH. We appreciate the thoughts and prayers of friends of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation are greatly appreciated.
