LeBLANC, GERARD - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerard W. LeBlanc, age 86, of Shediac, formerly of Petit-Cap, NB. Gerard passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in St. Andre, he was a son of the late William and Margaret (Bourque) LeBlanc. He will be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law, Judy LeBlanc, Quispamsis; three granddaughters, Tanya, Penny and Bonnie; three great-granddaughters, Savannah, Leah and Afiyah; brothers, Aurele (Leona) and Ovila (Mildred), both of Petit Cap; sister, Vitaline, Toronto. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice (Gallant); daughter, Geraldine; son, Bernard; sisters, Doris, Azile and Diana.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241). Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 6 to 9 pm only at the Club d'Âge d'Or, Shemogue. There will be no visitation on the day of the service. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 10:30 am, Father Boudreau officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
