It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Alfred Young announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the age of 82 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Angelina Jack; granddaughter, Meghann Jack; son, Charles Edward (Kathy); daughter, Lori Anne Langille (Jamie); grandchildren: Emma Aleana, Kaedan, Caitlynn; daughter-in-law, Viola (John) Young; grandson, Ian (Rachelle); great-grandchildren: Aiden, Cabela; granddaughter, Amy (Adam); great-grandchildren: Brayden, Ryder; step-daughter, Violet Lagatdu; two brothers: Raymond (Rita) of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Jimmy (Jean) of Labrador; one sister, Jean Norton of Alberta. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years Aleana (nee Simon), his partner, Margaret Lagatdu, son-in-law, Bobby Jack, brothers, Clifford, Eddy, Samuel and his sister, Linda. The family wish to extend gratitude to Violet and Eric who cared for Daddy so lovingly and enabled him to stay in his home in Cape St. George. Thank you to Doctor McComiskey and nursing staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville for compassionate care. Cremation service will take place and funeral will be held at a later date in East River, St. Mary’s, Nova Scotia with Interment in the Valley View Cemetery.
