Manning (Langille),Vera – 84, Balmoral It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Vera Manning, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, on August 24th, 2013. Born at her home in Louisville on June 20th, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Finley and Isabelle (Redmond) Langille. Vera was a teacher for a number of years and then spent her whole life on her family farm. Vera was passionate about family, horses and music. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Elmer; her children, Allan (Lynda), Doug, Debbie, Wayne (Lynn Hayman) & Keith; her grandchildren, Tammy (John Young), Terri Lynn (Dan) McNutt, Scott, Chantel, Mitchell & Logan Manning; great-grandchildren, Grace, Allan & Lucy Young, Owen & Isabell McNutt; sisters, Elva (Robert) Douglas & Irene (Gerald) MacMillan; chosen grandchildren Marree and Fiona MacKenzie; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 and a service of celebration for Vera’s Life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, both in Coulter’s Funeral Home (657-3288) 48 Riverside Dr., Tatamagouche, N.S.
