STRONG, LYNDA - 1944 - 2013 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of a dear wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Lynda Ann Strong (Perry), 68, of Lower Coverdale, N.B. Lynda passed away on August 21, 2013, at home. Lynda will be forever in the thoughts of her husband, Norman (Ted) Strong, sisters Deborah Cockerline (Perry) and Sandra Otway (Perry), daughters Jennifer Strong-Klefenz and Barbara Strong Muir, and granddaughters Amelia and Madison Muir. Born to the late Alexander and Beryl Perry on October 23, 1944, in Saint John, N.B. she grew up on military bases around the world until she settled in Saint John, N.B. and started her family. In 1987 the family relocated to Riverview, N.B. where she spent her remaining years. She worked at Canada Life, the Saint John General Hospital, Memorial University, Shoppers Drug Mart in Riverview, N.B., and was involved in the Beta Sigma Phi sorority in Rothesay and Moncton. She belonged to the UCW at the Lower Coverdale United Church. Lynda will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A service celebrating Lynda's life will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Thursday August 29, 2013, at 11:00 am with Rev Carol Mullin officiating.
