BUJOLD, ALFRED J. - 1921 - 2013 - Alfred Bujold, 92, of Manoir Antoinette and formerly of Stanley St., Campbellton, NB, passed away on Monday, August 26th, 2013 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, Campbellton, NB. Born in Chandler, QC, he was the son of the late Alphonse and the late Marguerite (née: Diotte) Bujold. Prior to retirement, Mr. Bujold worked at Canada Post. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus (4th degree), a member of the Club Richelieu and the Club d’Age d’Or. He had a passion for singing and could often be heard singing the national anthem at hockey games and other local functions. He was also a member of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges parish and its church choir for many years. He is survived by three daughters: Pauline (Luc) Lang of Moncton, Simonne (David) Firth of Dundee, NB and Carole of Calgary, AB; two sons: Jacques (Wilson) of Toronto, ON and Bernard of Montreal, QC; one sister, Jacqueline Ducasse of Sept-Isles, QC; two brothers: Adrien of Montréal and Maurice (Violette) of Renfrew, ON; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Alfred was predeceased by his wife, Rhéa in June 2013 and also by three sisters: Yvette Gould, Irene McKenzie and Rolande Albert.
Visitation will be held from Savoie Funeral Home, 47 Alexander Street, Campbellton, NB (753-7200) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dames-des-Neiges Roman Catholic Church, Campbellton, NB on Friday, August 30th, 2013 at 11 am. Interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges parish cemetery, Campbellton, NB. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.salonsavoie.ca
