d’ENTREMONT, Tracie Janelle – It is with deep sadness that her family announce the passing of Tracie d’Entremont of Upper Wedgeport, at the young age of 19. Tracie passed away in the Ottawa Civic Hospital following an automobile accident. Born November 25, 1993 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of Kenneth and Gail (Cottreau) d’Entremont. Tracie had graduated from École Secondaire de Par-en-Bas in June of 2012. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh. She was a great friend to many and a beautiful girl, both inside and out. She loved life and all that it had to offer. In her spare time, she loved dancing and was a member of the Cindy Comeau École de Danse until her graduating year. Tracie was also an avid runner. Aside from her mom and dad, Kenny and Gail, she is survived by her sister, Stephanie, Halifax, as well as by her paternal grandparents, Norbert and Jeanne “Jane” d’Entremont, Lower West Pubnico, and her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Eleanor Cottreau, Upper Wedgeport. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as by her boyfriend, Spencer Saulnier. She was predeceased by an uncle, Ethren d’Entremont. Visitation took place from 2-4 and again from 7-9 p.m. Friday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. A funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 31 at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Flowers were welcome.
