SHANNON, STERLING ELDON - Sterling Eldon Shannon, 66, of Newbridge, NB passed away on Sunday, September 01, 2013 at The Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Sterling was born in Dead Creek, NB on January 27, 1947, son of the late Charles and Minnie (Wright) Shannon. Sterling is survived by his spouse; Ann McLellan, daughters; Darcey Christie (Randy), Carrie Richardson (Ken), grandchildren; Brandon Christie, Dylan Christie, Jordan Christie, Sydney Richardson, Quinn Richardson, sisters; Donna Veysey (Jerry), Doreen Tingley (Gary), brothers; Raymond Shannon (Mary), Tom Shannon, Charles Shannon, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents; Sterling was predeceased by grandchildren; Abigail and Keegan Richardson, brother; Winston Shannon and a nephew, Christopher Veysey.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Tuesday, September 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
