Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, September 2, 2013, aged 84 years. Predeceased by her parents Dr. Arthur Elgin and Sarah (Furey) Lidstone. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are the Presentation Sisters, her sister Belle (Peter) Radford, her brother William (Catherine (Rena) - deceased); devoted nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John’s. Visiting hours on Tuesday, September 3 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, September 4 from 10:00 – 12:00; 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Thursday, September 5 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
