MONK, EVA MARIE - February 27, 1914 – September 14, 2013 - Eva Marie Monk (née Niles), 99, formerly of East Ship Harbour and Dartmouth, N.S., passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Extendicare Hillcrest, Calgary. Born in Cap Pelé, N.B. on February 27, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Willie Niles and the late Emma Thibodeau. She is survived by a son, Bernard (Muriel), Calgary; a daughter, Beverly, Ottawa; one sister, Marguerite Brine of Cap Pelé; and one brother, Gérard (Louisa) of Cap Pelé; three grandchildren, Mary Ann (Derek Rose), Amanda and Aaron; and one great grandson, Mekenzy. She was predeceased by her husband, Everett; a son, David; two sisters Edmée and Olive; and three brothers: Arthur, Charlie and David.
Funeral mass will be held at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception for family and friends at the Club d'Âge d'Or.
