It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Lester MacLean, 50, of Truro, NS on September 18, 2013 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre.
He was born in Ottawa, ON on May 17, 1963 and moved to NS as an infant. In 1981 he graduated from South Colchester High, Brookfield, NS.
Steven had a great love for all sports and in his younger years was an avid hockey player and also played hardball, fastball and lob ball with various local Truro teams. He was employed as a heavy duty parts person for all his adult life. Steven was well known and had many friends. He will be sadly missed by all.
He is survived by daughters Brooke and Brittany (who were the light of his life), their mom Karen, partner Colleen MacDonald, parents, Les, Janice(stepmother), Pierette Demerse (mother), sister Shelley(Sam), brothers Troy(Carrie), Nathan(Angie) grandparents Kendall & Erna Rawding and many nieces and nephews of whom he was very proud. He was predeceased by grandparents Leaman & Bernice MacLean and Aunt Hilda (Nanny Armstrong).
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013, 2 PM at St. Andrew's United Church (55 King) with Rev Jay Ettinger presiding.
