It is with great sadness that the families of Darius Davis announce his passing at the Western Memorial regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Friday, September 27th, 2013, at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Marie, Mary (Winston), Sadie (Lewis), Garland (Ivy), Clarence (Leah), Rex (Roxanne), Harvey (Fran), Stan (Linda), Brian (Velma), Eldon (Kim), Brenda (Terry), Sam (Ruby), & Debbie (Clar), his 31 grandchildren, his 61 great grandchildren, & 10 great great grandchildren, his aunts; Charity Osmond, & Sarah Ann Warford, his sister in law; Mrs. Rita Ralph, father was predeceased by his wife; Pearl Susanne nee Blanchard, his parents; Samuel & Marion Davis, his daughter; Gladys, son; Roy, his parents in law; Joseph & Charlotte Blanchard, his sisters in law; Martha, Margaret, & Daisy, son in law; Hubert Rickets, daughter in laws; Cora, Lorraine, & Rosland, & brother in law; Francis Ralph, father also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends, at The Church of the Epiphany, in Hampden, Nl, on Sunday, September 29th, 2013 from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Monday, September 30th, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 at 2: pm, with Rev Marlene Leggo officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Hampden, Nl. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
