Peacefully, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, of Mary Lanigan (nee Josie-Tildie MacDonald) of Kinkora, aged 91 years.
Wife of the late Lawrence Lanigan. Born in Monticello on Jan. 16, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Joseph MacDonald and Elizabeth (O’Hanley) MacDonald. Loving mother of Karen Lanigan, Linda (Vince) Oickle and Jerry Lanigan. Mary was the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by Sadie, Daniel, Johnnie, Roddie, Andrew and Alec. Survived by sisters-in-law Hilda and Frances MacDonald. Loving auntie to Elaine, Joey, Lennie, Bernadette, Lorraine, Daniel, Bobby, Charlie, Helen, Rose, Cathy, Heather, Joe, Gary, Keith, Sherry and their families.
Visiting hours at Kinkora Place, Kinkora, on Monday, Sept. 30, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at 10 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
