MORRIS, GLENN E. - 1940-2013 - Glenn Edmund Morris passed away peacefully with his family by his side, October 3, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Born in Advocate Harbour, NS he was the son of the late Verdun and Annie (Wasson) Morris. Glenn grew up in Saint John and attended S.J.H.S. Glenn is survived by his wife, Ruth (nee Latham); his daughter, Michele Foster (James); granddaughter, Charla; stepchildren, Ellen Pickle (Dr. Ron Aiken), Eric Pickle, Dr. Sue Burbine (Stephen), Shelly Williamson (John), Dr. Andrew Pickle (Cathy) and Kathy Pickle (Dr. Thomas Canam); beloved Grampy of Jonah Pickle, Samantha and Sarah Burbine, Jenny Williamson and Alexander and Gregory Pickle; one brother, Terry Morris, nephews, Christian and Collin Morris, two aunts, Lillian Ward, Gladys Cole and numerous cousins. Glenn was a proud member of the Canadian Forces for 20 years, serving in Peacekeeping Missions in Egypt and Cyprus, the office manager of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce as well as numerous positions with Canaterra Oil in Calgary. For the last 14 years he resided in Bath, NB with his wife Ruth. He was a member of Faith Memorial United Church.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 1 to 3 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel. Mr. Graydon Dingee will officiate. Interment will be held in the Bristol Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial tributes to be made to DunRoamin Stray and Rescue, the Kidney Foundation or a charity of their choice. www.gibersonfuenraldirectors.ca (506)392-1115
