WILSON: Mitchell R. Wilson age 16, passed away September 28, 2013 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. The Funeral Mass service was held Friday, October 4, 2013 from Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, Swift Current, SK with Father Richard Jasiak MSF officiating. Prayer Service was held Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church with Zoria Shumay officiating. The Pianist was Denis Pion. Life Tribute was presented by Eugene Sim. The ushers were Barry Paul, Keith Trudeau, David Garthus and Connie MacKay. The pallbearers were Dwayne Larson, Brian Olsen, Lorace Elton, Greg Paul, Robert Bymoen and Marty Flicek. The interment service took place at Klara Lutheran Cemetery in the Simmie District. Mitchell is survived by his parents Heath Wilson and Sandi Weetman and all who knew him. He was born on May 3, 1997 in Swift Current. Mitchell attended school at St Patrick School, St. Joseph School and the Comprehensive High School in Swift Current. He was a member of the Outdoor Ed Club, Swift Current Archery Club, St. Joseph Curling Club and Swift Current Soccer Association. Mitchell enjoyed playing his PS3 games, watching you tube, playing with his dog Boh, hunting, fishing, swimming, riding quads and mini bikes and being outdoors. He was a quiet kid, with a gentle spirit and a great sense of humour and was loved by all that knew him. Mitchell will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and all who knew him. In his memory, memorial donations may be made to the Swift Current S.P.C.A. or the Simmie Rec Board. Warren's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
