GERLACH: Agnes (nee: Dyck) age 76 of Swift Current, SK passed away October 6, 2013 at the Cypress Regional Hospital. The funeral service was held at 2:00 pm on Thursday October 10, 2013 from the Community Baptist Church Swift Current, SK with Captain Michael Ramsay officiating. A eulogy was given by Linda Jaster. The guitarist was Larry Jaster. Ushers were Jim Cuthbert, Dale McInnes, and Bruce Mcinnes. Pallbearers were Bernie Gerlach, Clayton Gerlach, Joey Luepke, Robert Luepke, Kevin Luepke, and Homer Clement. Members of the Eagles Club formed an honor guard. A private family interment took place at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Agnes is survived by her son Tony; daughter Marianne (Michael) Moreau; sisters: Helen (Paul), Marie (Marx), Anna (Paul), and Margaret (Martin); brothers: John, Isaac, Corney, and Peter (Ruth), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes is predeceased by her husband Albert in 1995; son Isaac in 1974; her father and mother; father-in-law and mother-in-law; brothers: Martin, Jacob and Abe; one sister who passed away in Mexico in 1941;and sisters-in-law Selma and Evelyn. Agnes was born January 6, 1937 in Mexico to Abraham and Anna Dyck. She moved with her family to Canada and settled in Wymark, SK in 1953. Agnes worked as a housekeeper for Christian and Annie Gerlach and met her husband Albert whom she married January 16, 1964.
