Mom loved gardening and handicrafts, entering her crewel embroidery on linen in seniors’ competitions. She enjoyed searching for antiques and collectibles at yard sales, socializing at card parties, and making new friends. Mom is survived by daughters Leah “Jean” (Robert) Lawrence of Brookfield, and Heather Dianne (Terry) Hennigar of Greenwich; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother William (Marguerite) Biggs of Melanson; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Edwin, her husband of 70 years; brother Henry Biggs; grandson Todd Craig Hennigar.
