Mr. Donald F. McIntyre passed away peacefully on the early morning of October 28th, 2013 with his loving family by his side at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home in Kamloops.

Don was a wonderful husband to Betty for 39 years. He was a loving father to his four children; Rhonda (Rod) Seaward, Cyreen (Paul) Brahe, Shannon (Tara) McIntyre and Daniel (Chrystal) McIntyre and to his twelve grandchildren; Tanna, Brandon, Braeden, Jared, Danta, Dawson, Kylie, Chloe, Alexander, Isabel, Sophia and Gage. He also leaves behind his three sisters; Theresa, Jessie and Tina, his three brothers; Ian, Neil and Alister as well as numerous nieces and nephews that he loved.

Don was predeceased by his mother Mary and father John.

He absolutely loved his grandkids. He always made sure he spent time with each of them, each year. Don served for 35 years for the BC Corrections and he truly enjoyed his job and co-workers.

Prayers will be recited on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Cathedral.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Monday, November 4th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Paul Simms Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
