Randall Edward Fraser - 54, of Canning, Kings County, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at home. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Vernon and Sadie (MacDonald) Fraser. He had been employed with Ron Clarke Farms, K&M Roll Off Container Services and helped out at various other locations, including DeGraaf's Convenience Store. He loved big trucks, tractors and all farm equipment. Randall was a very caring person who was always concerned for the welfare of others. He is survived by three sisters, Cheryl (Joe) Atwell, Gaspereau Mountain; Linda Fraser and Angela (Stephen) Schofield, both of Kentville; a half-sister, Jean (Donnie) Morine, New Minas; three nephews, Andrew, Matthew and Jamie. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2013, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial took place in the Scott's Bay Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
