Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, Blanche Harnum of Green’s Harbour, aged 73 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Winston Edward (2009), parents Jack and Agnes Chislett, baby brother Clifford, nephew Adam, niece baby Catherine, parents-in-law Arthur and Gladys Harnum, sister-in-law Ina March, brothers-in-law Jack Hart and Samuel Harnum. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life with thanksgiving are her three children: daughter, Cathy (Claude) Elliott, New Harbour; two sons, Roger (Barbara), Brampton, ON and Ken (Paula), Green’s Harbour; seven grandchildren. Travis, Mark, Jeremy, Trent, Claudia, Christopher and Kaitlin; three sisters: Lorraine (Maxwell) Chislett, Islington, Shirley (Graham) Butt, Carbonear, Doreen (Gregory) Critch, Cavendish; three brothers: Guy (Jean) Chislett, Islington, Dennis (Ethel), Innisfil, ON and Doug (Diane), Innisfil, ON. Blanche is also lovingly remembered by three sisters-in-law: Ivy (Gerald) Vaters, Whitbourne, Loretta Harnum, Green’s Harbour, Yvonne Hart, Campbellton and brother-in-law John March, Green’s Harbour; six dear friends; Nita, Evelyn, Beulah, Marilyn, Angela and Sadie, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Green’s Harbour on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Friday, November 8, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013 there will be visitation for immediate family only. The funeral service will be held from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Green’s Harbour on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Blanche’s memory may be made to the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo.
