Tragically lost at sea on October 29th, 2013. Predeceased by his parents Felix and Mary (nee Williams) Pike, sister Cecelia Power, brother Bill Pike, father-in-law Silas Newhook and brother-in-law Silas Newhook Jr. Leaving to mourn, his wife of 39 years, Sally Pike; daughter Nicole (Mitch) Macklin, Sask.; son Jamie (Robin) Edmonton, Alberta and a special nephew Brett Pike, who lived with our family for many years; his four grandchildren: Amber, Laurel, Cole and Noah. Also leaving to mourn his brothers: Chris, John (Shirley), Felix (Kathleen); sisters: Clara, Monica (Reg), Loretta (Basil); mother-in-law Bessie Newhook and special aunt Gladys White. As well as, a large number of nieces, nephews and extended family. A Memorial Service & Celebration of Gerard’s Life will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue, Saturday November 9th, 2013 @ 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations thankfully accepted to the Gerard Pike’s Memorial Fund c/o of Sally Pike. A heartfelt thank you to all who participated in the search to bring Gerard home, who brought food, comforting words and phone calls… too numerous to mention, but rest assured it has not gone unnoticed by our family.
