Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Thursday October 31st,2013 Ewart Vallis of Grand Bank age 85 years. Predeceased by wife Dorothy Vallis, parents Margaret & Edwin Vallis. Leaving to mourn: partner of 22 years Mae Hawkins; daughters Sandra (Dave), Edwina (Vince), Marilyn (Bill) and Betty-Ruth, (Greg), 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Special Family, Paul, Tara, Chantille & Lauren. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev: Rick Marsh from Grand Bank United Church at 2pm on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013. Organist was Betty Rogers. Pall Bearers were: Tara Fudge, Paul Hawkins, Michelle Hollett, Derrick Dunne, Michael Jonker & Vincent Jonker. Cremation has taken place, and inurnment of remains took place at Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank, on Friday, November 8th, 2013.
