Of Upper Island Cove passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, November 17, 2013. Mrs. Jewer was 85 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: Husband: Eric Jewer, children: Shirley Barrett, Joyce Jewer (Ron Singleton), Eric Jewer (Maxine Peddle), Paul (Lorraine) Jewer. Grandchildren: Danny (Nancy), Pamela (Johnny), Robin (Laura Lee), Rhonda (Craig), Joanne (Nathan), Cory (Joanne), Christopher (Lou Ann), Erica (Michael) & Adam, 17 great-grandchildren. Siblings: George Adams & Naomi Coombs and a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by: parents: Alfred & Isabella Adams daughter: Claudine; son-in-law: Reginald Barrett. Siblings: Selby (Ella), Flora (Albert), Lizzie (Henry), Will (Emily) & Marjorie (Graham). Sister-In-Law: Olga Adams; brother-in-law: Will Coombs.
