DOUGHERTY, HAYWARD DOUGLAS - At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen NB on Nov 28, 2013, Mr. Hayward Douglas Dougherty, husband of the late Doreen (LeBlanc) Dougherty formerly of Canal NB. Born at Fredericton NB on May 20, 1927, he was a son of the late Clyde and Mary (Johnston) Dougherty. He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Hatt of Canal NB, one son, Garry (Barbara) Dougherty of Canal NB, six grandchildren; Lori Hatt, Serri Hatt (Ken Hawkins), Sasha Hatt, Shelli Hatt, Steven Dougherty and Jeffrey Dougherty and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife, Doreen, he was predeceased by one brother, Irvin Dougherty.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home and Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. George’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George NB on Monday at 11:00 am, followed by the interment at the parish cemetery.
