It is with sadness that we the family announce the passing of Irene Gladys Rose on Nov. 29, 2013, at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Joshua and Janet (Blagdon) Rose.
Irene is survived by sister, Lillian (Robert) MacDonald.
She was predeceased by sisters, Pearl, Audrey and Marie, brothers, John, Gerald, George, Thomas, Vincent, Murray and Bobby.
Visitation will be held 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3 both at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. Rev. Gloria McClure Fraser will officiate. Interment in Hardwood Hill Cemetery, Sydney.
