Passed away at Health Science Centre, St. John's on Saturday, November 30th, 2013, Lloyd John Barnes of Fortune, age 65 years. Predeceased by Father Raymond Barnes; Mother Myrtle Barnes; granddaughter Samantha Matthews. Leaving to mourn: Wife Gladys Barnes: Daughters: Sherry (Greg) Cooper; Michelle (Robert) Matthews; Michelle George; 2 grandchildren, Robert & Morgan Matthews; Sisters: Shirley (Gord) Matthews; Viola (Lloyd) Piercey; Joyce (Gerald); Denise (Edgar) Piercey. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Neal Buffett from All Saint's Anglican Church at 2pm on Monday December 02, 2013. Interment followed at the All Saint's Anglican Cemetery, Fortune. Music was provided by organist Henrietta Pope. Pall Bearers were: Robert Matthews, Wade Matthews, Dave Piercey, Lloyd Piercey, Stephen Piercer, Frazer Smith, Craig Bullock, & Michael Cox. Donations in Lloyd's Memory may be made to the Family towards Funeral Expenses. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
