At the Miramichi NB Regional Hospital, Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at 76 years, in the presence of her devoted family, Janet (née Fagan) Doucet passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of Edgar Doucet in Néguac, NB. Born 24 March 1937 in St. John's, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late William Fagan and the late Gladys Chafe.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her beloved children: Jay (Barbara Denny) and Teresita (Jake Clarke) and four grandchildren: Harrison, Mallory, Victoria and Wesley; six brothers Gerry (Gertie), Don
(Judy), Bill (late Gertrude), Basil (Linda), Angus (Monique) and Ray (Goldie), three sisters: Mary (George Cornick), Maureen and Terry and several brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two brothers: Pat (late Sandra) and Kevin (Debbie).
The family will receive relatives and friends at 2pm Tuesday, December 3rd, the Salon Robichaud & Son, 50 Otho Street, Néguac, NB. The funeral will be held at St. Bernard's Church, Néguac, Wednesday, 4 December at 2pm.
Visiting hours: Tuesday, December 3, from 2-4pm and from 7-9pm and Wednesday, December 4, from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m.
In memory of Janet, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or St. Bernard's Parish in Néguac.
