NICHOLLS, WILLIAM JAMES "BILL" - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill Nicholls, age 72 of Kingsley Court, Fredericton, formerly of Saint John NB, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with his loving wife Lynn (Spencer) Nicholls by his side on Monday, December 2, 2013, following open Heart Surgery. Born in Taymouth, NB, he was a son of the late Delbert and Lenora (Bowlen) Nicholls. Bill graduated from Taymouth High School. For many years Bill was employed at the Ridgewood Center in Saint John. He grew up on the family farm in Taymouth and enjoyed playing cards with his many friends and especially at the Nicholl's, Bowlen family reunions. Survived by his three brothers John Nicholls (Judy), Harry Nicholls (Sharyn) all of Fredericton, Bob Nicholls (Elizabeth) of Hemming Ford, QC; two sisters Margaret Anne Stevens (Donald) of Sussex, Dorothy Ellen Marshall (David) of Saint John; several nieces, nephews and cousins; aunts Annie (Bowlen) MacDonald of Fredericton, Ellen (Bowlen) Leanord of Banff, AB, Helen (Nicholls) Dorcas of Fredericton; special cousin Kathryn (Nicholls) Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB. A funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Monte Peters officiating.
