GREER, FERNE - Ferne Marie Greer of Hartland passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born September 16, 1936 in East Coldstream, NB and was the daughter of the late Phillip and Margaret (Spence) Greer. She was predeceased by a brother Grenville Greer. Ferne is survived by her sister-in-law June W. Greer of Bath, NB; nieces, Winnifred (Carl Marchand) Greer of Montreal, Margaret Anne Guest of Divide, NB, Jennifer (Rodney) McQuade of Halifax, NS, Heather (Kevin) Stockall of Halifax, NS, and several cousins.
Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Monday, December 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10th from the Mount Pleasant United Baptist Church with pastor Peter Culberson officiating.
