Wayne McDowell
1940 – 2013

Wayne Franklin McDowell was born on May 2, 1940 at the Holy Family Hospital in Prince Albert, the eldest child of Aileen and Alex McDowell. Wayne played ball for over 50 years up to the age of 65. He worked in the automotive business for many years, both here and in Sherwood Park, he owned and operated the Timber Cove Trading Post just south of Montreal Lake, and ran a tow truck from there for many years. Wayne passed away on Dec 5, 2013 at the age of 73. He is survived by his son Bradley McDowell; daughter-in-law Trudy; grandsons Brody and Brady. He was predeceased by his son Douglas and both parents. Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Andrew Hoskin officiating.
