It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of their wife, mother and sister, Bertha McIntyre on Dec. 10, 2013, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital. Born in New Waterford she was the daughter of the late Augustine and Raymonde (Gasper) Deruelle.
Bertha was a long time employee of Kimber Clock in Brampton, Ont. which she enjoyed and had many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Bernie McIntyre; daughter, Shirley Ann, Ontario; sisters, Louise MacKinnon, New Waterford, Helen Keating, Mary McNeil, Ontario; brother, Edward (Evangeline), Sydney; grandchildren, Dean, Clay and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Noah, Nico and Louis. She is also survived by her aunt, Jean Villa; special cousin, Linda Gottwald and close friend, Marie Carrigan, as well as many nieces and nephews, including Jane Deruelle, Dominion.
We are very grateful to mom’s sister Louise, who was also her best friend and took such good care of her.
Besides her parents, Bertha was predeceased by brothers Augustine 'Tackie', Raymond, Henry and George.
There will be no visitation, a private burial will take place.
Arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
