It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their father Selby Pack Taylor on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Parkwood Hospital, London in his 81st year. Husband of Nola Taylor. Cherished father of Beverly Howlett (Gordon), Elsie Borg (Fred), Selby "Yogi" Taylor (Elaine), Brenda Penney, Gale Granger (Cleveland) and Allyson Taylor (Darryl Howlett), Greg Taylor (Sue) and Lisa Taylor. Proud grandfather of Gordon Howlett, Jason Howlett (Shelly), Carl Taylor (Amanda), April Richard (James), Nola Gale, Angela Taylor, Selby Taylor (Jen), Ashley McCarthur (Greg), Joshua and Alyxa Penney, Amanda Monk (Monish), Khadija and Nasseeb Granger and Amber Taylor and great-grandfather of Gordon, Liam, Aidan, Ethan and Max Howlett, Makayla and Hazel Taylor and Cameron, Brayden, Jayda and Georgia Richard, Terressa, Lyssa and Gabrille Youden, Selby and Colton Taylor, Nickeleyes, Tyson and Priya-Gale Parmar. Loving brother of Max Taylor and Olga Burke. Predeceased by his 3 sisters and 4 brothers. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends of the community of Shea Heights, St. John's, Newfoundland. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013 at FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to The St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation - Parkwood Hospital.
