(March 26, 1933 - December 18, 2013) - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear, on Wednesday, December 18th 2013, Jessie Elliott of New Harbour, aged 80 years. Predeceased by husband Claude; parents, Lemuel and Annie Cranford; parents-in-law, Hubert and Netta Elliott, brothers -in-law, Major Ivan Elliott and Major Hector Elliott. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories to celebrate her life with thanksgiving are; three sons and two daughters; Keith (Betti) Gander, Debbie (Ray) Woodford, Harbour Main, Gary ( Eileen) New Harbour, Carolyn (Rex) Roberts, Whiteway, Claude ( Cathy) New Harbour; nine grandchildren; Kenny, Heather, Susanne, Gary, Matthew, Colleen, Bradley, Mark, Claudia and eight great grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by brother-in-law, Basil Elliott, sisters-in-law, Melva and Bernice Elliott; as well as a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Resting at warren's Funeral Home, Dildo on Thursday, December 19th 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Friday, December 20th 10:00 am - 12:00 noon and 2:00 - 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Augustine's Anglican Church, New Harbour on Saturday, December 21st. at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Augustine's Anglican Cemetery.
