BARRON, JAMES DOUGLAS - It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our precious son and brother James Douglas Barron (62) of Kamloops, BC on December 12th, 2013. Douglas was the eldest son of Elizabeth (Betty) Barron and the late Munro J. Barron of Riverview. Born in Campbellton, NB, Douglas attended schools there and in Riverview. After graduating he joined the RCMP where he proudly served his country for 35 1/2 years before retiring. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Barbara Ann (Morse), daughter, Heather Lynn of Victoria, BC, son, James Carter of Dawson Creek, BC, his mother, Elizabeth (Betty) Barron, of Riverview, NB, sister, Brenda Maxwell (David) of Barrington, NS, David of Parkindale, NB, William (Pamela) of Rothesay, NB and Robert (Melodie) of Upper Coverdale, NB, and several nieces and nephews.
With respect of Douglas’ wishes, private graveside service was held in Kamloops on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 with Rev. Harry Bicknell officiating.
