It is with great sadness that, we the family, announce the passing of Mary (Lovey) Matthews on Dec. 18, 2013, at the Moncton City Hospital with her daughter and granddaughter at her side.
Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Bonnar.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorna (Lloyd) Tucker; son-in-law. Jim LeMoine; grandchildren. Kevin, Alan (Gail), Brenda (John), Judy (Greg) and Carey; six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Milicent MacLean and Lorraine Young; several neices and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Matthews, daughter, Margaret LeMoine, sisters, Jessie, Margaret, Janet, Henrietta, brothers Lemuel and Silvey, and infant grandson.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be arranged on a later date at Trinity Anglican Church in Sydney Mines N.S. (to be announced).
