The death occurred at Stewart Memorial Long Term, Tyne Valley, on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, of Mary "Irene" Haley, Lennox Island, aged 80, wife of David. Born in Lennox Island on July 18, 1933, the last surviving daughter of the late John T and Matilda (Peters) Labobe. Irene is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews. Irene will be forwarded from the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel to her home on Lennox Island, 34 Oyster Trail, for visiting hours on Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday until 10 a.m. Then to St Anne¹s Roman Catholic Church, Lennox Island, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
