Passed peacefully away on December 19, 2013 at Hoyles Eacasoni Complex surrounded by his family Thomas J. Williams age 71. Predecased by his mother Selena and father Michael Williams as well as brother in laws James Walsh & Bill Armstrong. He leaves to mourn his wife Rowena and cherished daughter Karyn (Rob Bennett). Special sister Delores and sisters Agnes (Robert Armstrong) and Jean as well as special nephew Jim (Kelly) and niece Brenda (Marc) and their children Erin, Alyssa, Gavin and Theo. Also leaving to mourn are a number if nieces and nephews. Tom worked as a marine engineer on the CN Gulf Ferry the William Carson in his early career and then joined Marine Institute as Chief Engineer on the training vessel in St. John's until his retirement in 2004. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday, December 22 from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place Monday, December 23 from Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Church at 11 am.
