Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 71. Marilyn (nee Arsenault), beloved wife of Palmer Hirtle of Oshawa and formerly of Charleston, NS. Loved mother of Kenny Hirtle and his wife Allison, Bobby Hirtle and his wife Debbie and Kathy Vaillancourt and her husband Jim. Marilyn will be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Yvonne (George Murison), Jimmy Arsenault and the late Doris (Joe Rix).
