Hiscock, Peter - 86, Corner Brook, NL and Valley, NS passed away peacefully on Saturday December 21, 2013 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children, Janet (Kish) Stone, Valley, NS, Violet (Donald) Hillier, Brampton, ON and Karen (Alan) Bell, Ottawa, ON. He also had 6 grandchildren, Peter (Karen) Stone, Summerside, PEI, Matthew (Morgan) Stone, Valley, NS, Jake Hillier and Hannah Hillier, Brampton, ON, Allison Bell and Simon Bell, Ottawa, ON. As well, he has 5 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gladys Hiscock, St. John’s, NL and many nieces and nephews in NL and NS. Predeceased by his wife, Marie; brother, Eliol Hiscock and sister, Alice Rose. Visitation will take place from 1 to 2 pm on Monday, December 30 with funeral service at 2 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Gary Yetmen officiating. A reception will follow at 23 Edgehill Drive, Valley NS. Family flowers only. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
