Of Hearts Desire passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, December 28, 2013 after a fulfilled life of 93 years. She leaves to mourn her loving family: Children: Betty, Irene (Patrick), John (Helen), Patricia (Joe), David (Donna), Jean (Derek), Audrey & Dennis (Bernadette). 22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, and a large number of nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by: husband: Bernard J. Clarke, two infant children, parents: Michael & Agnes Lahey, brother: Jack Lahey, sisters: Julie (Vincent), Elizabeth (Jack) & Emily, sister-in-law: Angela Lahey, son-in-law: Gary Groves. The funeral mass will take place at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Hearts Desire on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, 2 P.M. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Sacred Heart Church Hall, Hearts Desire between the hours of Sunday: 7 - 9 P.M., Monday, 2 - 5 P.M., 7 - 9 P.M. & Tuesday 10:30 - 12 noon.
