It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of my husband, our father and grandfather Charles ‘Merle’ Latham, 90, of Sydney.
Merle passed away peacefully with his wife Vivian by his side on Dec. 28, 2013, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, Sydney.

Merle worked for Sydney/Whitney Pier Bus Company and Cape Breton Transit for 38 years until his retirement. After his retirement he enjoyed travelling with his wife and spending time in Ben Eoin.
