Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home Grand Bank on Tuesday December 24th, 2013 Susannah Smith of Fortune age 84 years. Predeceased by her parents Eva & Josiah and her sister Marion. Leaving to mourn her loving husband, Joseph Smith, Sons; Stan (Lucy), Albert (Edna), Charlie (Melvina) & Terry (Lisa). 8 Grandchildren & 7 Great grandchildren. Sisters; Blanche (Joseph), & Rosella (Herman). Plus a large circle of other relatives and friends that loved her dearly. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Marilyn Rees on Friday December 27th, at 2:00pm from the Fortune United Church. Organists were Don Mavin & Evan Smith. Inurnment followed at the Fortune United Church Cemetery. Pall Bearers were Fred Bonnell, Fred Butler, Jerry Masters, Leonard Peach, Rick Senior & Frank Smith. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home Grand Bank.
