Passed peacefully away at the DVA Pavilion on Monday, December 30th, 2013, William F. Skanes age 89 years. Leaving to mourn five sons: William (Rose), Reg (Elizabeth), Larry, Leslie and Bob (Deb); 2 daughters: Trudy Burton (Paul - deceased) and Karen Stamp (Des); 10 grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary Skanes and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at 11 a.m. from Caul's Chapel with interment to follow in the Field of Honour, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
