PHILLIPS (SAUNDERS), JOAN FREDERICA - It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Joan Frederica Phillips of Rusagonis NB occurred on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at home. She was 76. Born in Fredericton, NB, on February 9th, 1937 to the late Bernard and Helen Saunders. Joan was a trained nurse who stayed at home to raise her family. She loved to bake and have her family and friends around. Survived by her husband George Eldon Phillips, children; Bernard Phillips (Leverne) of Geary, Gary Phillips (Jill) of Rusagonis, Deborah Nason (Murray) of Windsor, Ontario, Dale Phillips (Loretta) of Lincoln, grandchildren; Jackie Kelly, Kirk, Karen and Dean Phillips, Kerri Laviolette-Rowe and Jody Laviolette, Lindsay Bigger, Steven Nason, Benjamin Stewart, Lacie and Amy Phillips, great grandchildren; Denver, Jessica, Haley, Brian, Chris, Emily, Ryder, and Mya, one special sister Catherine McKinley, as well as several nieces and nephews.
