It is with heartfelt sadness the family of Bernadette Fowler announces her unexpected passing on January 3, 2014 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Bernard Fowler, her parents Alexander and Ellen Shea, her sister Mary and brother Patrick and numerous step brothers and sisters. Leaving to mourn her children, Gary (Wanda); Lexi (Robin) Michael; Glenna (Dominic); Shirley; Chris; Mario; Kerry (Agnes); Roger (Karen); Rodney; Tanya (Ken). Her sisters Patricia (Cec); Carmel (Jack); and Evelyn. Her step-children, Lorraine; Patricia and Bernie. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially her special grandsons Christopher (nan's "Treasure" ) and Khristian (Nan's "Pucky") and her special great grandchildren Owen, Ella and Alexi. And last but not least her "Card Buddies". Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday January 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Michael's Parish, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Diabetic Association or Alzheimer Association.
