THERIAULT (nee RUSSELL), MELVA NOREEN - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melva Noreen (nee Russell) Theriault of Oromocto, NB occurred on Friday, January 3, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was 84. Born in St Stephen, NB, to the late Elwood Norton and Kathryn Irene (Cann) Russell. Survived by eight children; Larry (Marion), Lynne (Jacob), Donna (Boyce), Brenda (Doug), Joyce (Chris), Norman (Trish) Lorna (Vince) and Simon (Gladys), 21 grandchildren, daughter-in-law Georgia, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Simeon Joseph Theriault and son Richard.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road where visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to PM. A celebration of Melva’s life will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints at 2 PM with Bishop Michael Sexton officiating. Interment will be held in the Waterville Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
