Clayton Maxwell Butt age 80, of Gander passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on January 4, 2014. He was predeceased by his wife Olive (Roberts) in 2011. He leaves to mourn with lasting memories are his children; Jim (Judy) of Pasadena, Sharon Pike (Darrell) of Gander, Sheila Richards (Jeff) of Pasadena, Dianne Lane (John) of Castlegar, BC and step daughter Dorothy Hurley (Eric) of Lewisporte; grandchildren Chris Richards (Jennifer), Jennifer Lane (Chris Gagnon), Shawn Lane, Greg Pike, Heather McNulty (Dave) and Megan Pike. His great grandchildren Rowan, Ellie, and Kailynn lit up his life. Also left to mourn are his sisters Dora Hickey (Pat) and Christine Nolan (Terry) of Gander as well as a large circle of friends and relatives. Rested at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral Service was held Wednesday January 8th at Fraser Road United Church, Gander. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
