We celebrate the passing away of Frank, who has gone on to be with his Lord at age 85 at Brocklehurst Gemstone Care Centre on Thursday, January 2, 2014.

He was born in Edmonton, AB, raised in mining communities and was self-reliant since the age of 16. He retired and lived in Kamloops for the last 20 years. As a young man he served with the Calgary Police for five years. He then worked in Corrections in Prince George, Vancouver Island, Ocala and Spy Hill in Calgary. He also supervised a ranch operated by Parole in Prince George and in a Detox facility in Calgary. He then owned a hardware business in Prince George followed by owning and operating a small motel in Prince George before selling and moving to Kamloops.

He loved the outdoors, was an avid hiker and especially liked spending time at the hot springs in Nakusp.

He is predeceased by his parents and survived by his sister Barbara (Buckley).

He was a caring man who touched many lives and leaves behind many friends including the Brown family that he adopted.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 805 Sherbrooke Ave.
