World War 11 Veteran- It is with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Maxwell Willis Laite, age 89, from Petley, at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on January 9, 2014. Predeceased by parents, Charles and Sarah Laite; brothers, Ross (Alfreda), Fred, Charles and Walter. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories, his wife of 62 years, Sylvia; daughter, Pauline (Bruno La France); sons, Barry (Karen) and Chris (Connie); grandchildren, Barry Jr. (Tammy), Mark (Jessica), Jennifer, Adam (Holly); great-grandchildren, Brock, Hayley and Teagan; sister, Annie; sisters-in-law, Ruple, Effie and Joyce; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
