MELVIN, MAXINE L.R. - At Loch Lomond Villa, Saint John NB on January 15, 2014, Mrs. Maxine L.R. (Allaby) Melvin, wife of Mr. Daryl Melvin of Pennfield NB. Born at Plaster Rock NB on May 2, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Janet (Giberson) Allaby. Survived by her husband Daryl Melvin, one daughter, Wanda Stone (Ken), two sons, Michael Lennon (Wendy) and Fred Lennon (Laurie),
grandchildren, Christine, Angela, Vicky, Lindsey, Misty, Ashley, Nickolas and Katrina and several great grandchildren. She will also be missed by several brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. Maxine enjoyed music, dancing and Books. A special THANK YOU goes out to the loving staff of Lock Lomand Villa for the excellent care they showed over the last 10 years.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, from where the service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Friday at 1:00 pm. The interment will take place at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring. Family will receive friends at the Chapel from Noon until service time. In Maxine’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
